Early Wind
Archive Project
Körber schreyerpfeifen.
Introduction
In the course of collecting and studying modern reproductions of historical instruments over the years, I've accumulated a great deal of information. While I am synthesizing some of it within my ongoing doctoral dissertation, for some time now I've realized that portions of my personal archive would of great use to others if they were widely available.

This page is a preliminary step towards sharing some of what I've amassed, beginning with fingering charts for an assortment of early wind instruments, sourced from my own collection, websites, social media, and public online sales listings. Note: Since Moeck Musikinstrumente recently updated their webpage and removed the legacy fingering charts for their shuttered historical woodwind division, I feel no compunction in offering their formerly available files below.

It will take some time for me to upload all the material I have available in an orderly manner (and I do need to work on my dissertation, besides). There are more fingering charts I need to scan or otherwise process. Given recent inquiries on social media, I put this page together rather hastily as a subsection of my own website to provide access to Moeck fingering charts, so filenames have not been standardized. If there is enough interest, I may create an independent webpage at a later date.
Eventually I hope to also offer a visual index of makers' marks, as well as an assortment of reed dimensions for common models, and perhaps some other odds and ends.

Contributions are welcome.
Please write to me with anything you would like to share at earlywind.ephemera–AT–gmail.com.
